TEACHING ACTIVITY
I only taught 2 afternoon classes
in January 28, 2019. For motivation session, I did not give them a game, but I
showed a video about gametogenesis to them. The goal of showing video to them
was to give them a strong basic knowledge and friendly introduction about
today’s topic. I found that the class enjoyed the video and they amazed on the
fact that showed in the video.
I used STAD (Student Team
Achievement Division) as the model to taught the class. The class activity was
filling the worksheet and working on the group. The students need to find how
to solve the problem on worksheet from trusted sources in internet or book. The
teacher guided the student to find out how to solve the problem. The group that
has finished the work can proceed to
demonstrate the work in front of the class. This model will encourage student
and give them support, motivation and also increasing student self-esteem,
corporation in the group and critical thinking skill.

In the last, I gave them the short
evaluation. They need to decide the 10 sentences as true or false sentence based on what they
learned from today’s discussion.
Overall, the performance of the
Grade 8 Granada and Grade 8 Guyabano meet my expectation.
RESULT AND
IMPROVEMENT
My CT really satisfied by my
improvement in connecting the previous and today’s lesson and the way of
explaining the student about the goal of discussion. Beside of these thing, she
also mention that I was perfectly created the good atmosphere of learning in
the class with a lot of good and interesting activity for the students to be
more active and participate.
